The Swoosh stopped making the OG Roshe Run in 2014, but a litany of lookalike successors took its place—one of which, the Nike Tanjun, became the highest-selling shoe in America in 2017.

Since the shoes are designed from one piece of fabric there's no stitching or extra material to cause irritation. I was worried the snug fit would lessen the breathability, but that wasn't the case. The knitting is tighter in areas of support and more open in the midfoot and areas that require ventilation.

The Flyknit lets in a lot of air and my feet felt as cool as possible given the hot summer weather. The breathability is right in line with similar Flyknit models so it translates well to running. Sizing.

Though the Roshe's silhouette was designed to mimic that of a running shoe, that is not, and will never be its main purpose (especially for serious runners). But that does not take away from the shoe's greatness and, if you forgot your Frees at home, the Roche can get the job done.
