Most new Air Max 97's will feature a logo on the tongue. Make sure this logo is carefully and immaculately stitched, glued, printed or embroidered onto the tongue. Check that any logo printed on the insole is not worn away if the shoes are new. Check the print quality by making sure the edges of the logo are sharp.

Heel shape The shape of the heel often deviates on fake pairs and this is one of the most important indicators for us. With fake Air Max 1s you often see that you can easily press the heel in, the bulge is missing and the part of the midsole also runs diagonally inward.

All Nike shoes are packed inside a box with a certain label and tag. The colour and print of the box usually vary depending on the style but mainly the boxes revolve around the colors red, orange, and brown. The print on the box should have the size, serial number, and style, with a barcode.

Locate the tag inside your shoe. All authentic Nike shoes have a tag sewn into them with their size, barcode and model number on it.
