Fake Dunks have a thick and angular logo that's located close to the midsole, while real Dunks have a naturally curved logo that's located near the center of the shoe panel. The swoosh stitching is also thin and long on fakes, while real Dunks have thicker, smaller, and more consistent stitching overall.

Locate the tag inside your shoe. All authentic Nike shoes have a tag sewn into them with their size, barcode and model number on it. You will recognize it most easily by the barcode. Look for it inside: The tongue.

All Nike shoes are packed inside a box with a certain label and tag. The colour and print of the box usually vary depending on the style but mainly the boxes revolve around the colors red, orange, and brown. The print on the box should have the size, serial number, and style, with a barcode.

Examine the SKU number on the box and the labels inside of the shoes. Every pair of authentic Nike shoes comes with an SKU number that is identical to the SKU number on their box. If the numbers are missing or do not match, they are likely fakes. Check the tongue label.
