Nike clothing can usually be authenticated through the tag. The above wash-tags (all authentic Nike) can be used for cross-referencing. Check the tag inside the shoe: Look for a tag inside the tongue, heel, or arch of the shoe [1]. The model number is usually a 9-digit code located underneath the shoe size. Examine the shoe box: If you still have the box your shoes came in, check the sticker on the side of the box.

Locate the tag inside your shoe. All authentic Nike shoes have a tag sewn into them with their size, barcode and model number on it. You will recognize it most easily by the barcode. Look for it inside: The tongue.
