It's the same foam as seen on the Vaporfly and Alphafly. Those two shoes were designed specifically for the marathon, but they have been favorites for both elites and amateurs at all race distances. In the Streakfly it's a lower stack height, and it's marketed for use in shorter races, like the 5k/10k on the road.

You feel the ground better than on higher stack racers and have more toe control when pushing off. But even with that ground feel, the ZoomX is still plush and keeps your legs from feeling horrible after a hard workout.

The launch “Prototype” colorway is inspired by samples that wear testers are given during the development process with a serial number on the medial side of the midsole. The Nike ZoomX Streakfly is scheduled to release on February 27th via Nike.com and at select retailers for $160.
