On X for desktop browsers, enter any query in the search bar. Left-click the three-dot or overflow button next to the search bar on the results page. Open Advanced Search from the dropdown menu.

Use a Search Engine To Find Specific Posts on X Although the search bar isn't visible to people without an account, this doesn't mean you can't look for posts. Most profiles are public on X, so that you can find them via any search engine.

Tap “Search settings,” and a dialog box will appear. Inside the dialog box, you'll find two options with accompanying checkmarks. Uncheck the first checkmark beside “Hide sensitive content” to turn off safe search. You can also uncheck the option that removes blocked and muted accounts from your search results.

Your account may be filtered from search if you are logged into a third-party application that is updating many accounts with similar or duplicate content.
