I worked out you can put an if function within the html code to help provide a style dependent on value. The if function simply looks at the value then returns the relevant color code. Works perfectly.

Conditional logic statements can be applied to any HTML element in your document, but the point and click Collaborate user interface only supports inserting a conditional <div> block. To create statements on other HTML elements, you will need to insert them directly into source code.

The <input type="color"> defines a color picker. The default value is #000000 (black). The value must be in seven-character hexadecimal notation. Tip: Always add the <label> tag for best accessibility practices!
