One of the great aspects of the Adidas Gazelle is that it doesn't belong to one style tribe. OG – meaning original – is a reference to the shoe which was first introduced in 1968 and since that day its appearance has barely changed at all. Despite that, it has remained ever popular and is without a shadow of a doubt one of the brand's all-time best-selling designs.

Sizing on these shoes runs a full size bigger; you will likely need to order one size down than your normal size. I typically wear a women's size 8 but with this shoe/style, it was a size 7 that fit right. I read in a few reviews to try sizing down a full size but I was skeptical.

While the materials are pretty similar, the Samba is going to have more natural fibers like suede, leather and textile lining. The Gazelles has a synthetic tongue which can feel a bit different on the foot.
